Ryan Kelley

KCF President

In 2015, Ryan Kelley began climbing mountains to raise money and awareness for children battling cancer. This annual “Climb for the Kids” initiative grew steadily, leading to the launch of the Keep Climbing Foundation in 2021. The Annual Climb for the Kids now lives in the foundation and will continue for years to come. As a full 501(c)(3) non-profit, the foundation hosts several climbs each year, raising significant funds and awareness for children facing life-threatening diseases. To date, our climbs have raised nearly $500,000, making a profound impact on the lives of many families.

Ryan has led teams on numerous climbs, including Mount Rainier (twice), The Grand Teton, Chimborazo, Cotopaxi, Radio Control Tower & Angie’s Wall in Denali National Park, and several of Colorado’s 14ers. He has also guided teams on multi-day hikes along the Appalachian Trail.

In addition to his philanthropic efforts, Ryan has had a highly successful career in the mortgage industry, winning several National Top Producer Awards. His company/brand, The Home Loan Expert, has generously funded much of the impactful work of the Keep Climbing Foundation.

Ryan lives in Austin, Texas with his wife and three children.
